“We come up (to the Transit Center) once a month to help people sign up for food stamps and SNAP benefits. People get excited about this because it saves them a trip to Job & Family Services. Us being the middle man makes it easier. They can bring proper verification and it gets the ball rolling. Last year we helped about 150 people.”
